Reading Comics Pt.3 – Coraline

Coraline is a fantasy horror/spine-chiller novella by Neil Gaiman and illustrator Dave McKean.

Coraline, whose parents are working all day long, starts to explore the house where they just moved in.
During a rainy day she discovers a locked door in the drawing room, which has been bricked up.
Coraline decides to unlock the door when she is home by herself and finds a long passageway,
which leads to a flat identical to the one she just left, inhabited by her ‘Other Mother’ and ‘Other Father’.
Both of them have button eyes!
In this ‘Other World’, Coraline finds everything to be better than her reality..

Oh my gosh, was this story exciting and thrilling!
